Διεθνές Συνέδριο Δικαίου και Δεοντολογίας της Πληροφορίας

Το Διεθνές Συνέδριο Δικαίου και Δεοντολογίας της Πληροφορίας ιδρύθηκε το 2008 στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών ‘Επιστήμη της Πληροφορίας’ και του μαθήματος ‘Δίκαιο και Δεοντολογία της Πληροφορίας’, από το οποίο έλαβε και το όνομά του.

Συνδιοργανωτής του ICIL είναι από το 2009 η Διεθνής Εταιρεία Δεοντολογίας και Τεχνολογίας της Πληροφορίας (INSEIT).

Υποστηρίζεται ηθικά από το International Center for Information Ethics (ICIE), το NEXA Center for Internet and Society (Italy, Torino), το Institute for Legal Informatics (IRI, Germany).

Στο ICIL φιλοξενείται σταθερά από το 2010 μια ειδική συνεδρία για νέους ερευνητές, Young Scholar Forum.
